Overall disapointed and I would not recommend them for "premium japanese style" knives. Very good blades, but poor assembly ( heavily tilting left or right, and very inconsistent finish on the blade and handle, not clean glueing, with glue spilling over and absorbed into the bolster ) Order process was a disaster wih lots of major errors on their end ( made the sample right and then produced all knives with larger handles, wrong finish, etc) resulting in production time taking 6 months! Biggest problem with TBT is the sales team in NOT working in the factory but 3 hours from there and they can't follow up your orders as they should as they seldom go. To make things worse, they also seem to have a high turnoever in the sales team meaning some people who handle your orders from a distance don't have the required experience.
